Thanks to the sequins on the sleeves, a modest T-shirt immediately turns into a glamorous little thing. You can use fabric with sequins, as well as sew individual sequins in rows or in the form of inscriptions.
This summer, it is customary to shine not only in the evening, but also in the afternoon! Sequins sparkle everywhere, even on basic things - simple tops, pullovers and T-shirts.
You will need:
- sequin embroidered fabric
- finished t-shirt
- spreader
- sewing threads
- tailor pins
- needle for hand sewing,
- scale bar
- chalk pencil
- scissors,
- awl
How to sew from sequin fabric
Step 1
Unscrew the T-shirt on the wrong side and gently tear off the sleeves with the help of a sprayer. Spread the seam of each sleeve.
Step 2
Lay out each sleeve in one layer and iron it well. Mark the front and back side of the sleeves with a chalk pencil, so that then they can be sewn in again correctly.
Step 3
Pin each sleeve in the direction of the shared thread to the fabric with sequins from the wrong side.
Step 4
Gently cut out sleeves from the fabric with sequins without allowances for the seams. At the same time, do not use cutting scissors - they may become dull.

Step 5
On shiny sleeves, carefully remove the sequins using a spreader and an awl: along the lower cut - to a width of approx.2 cm, along side sections and along the ridge - to a width of approx. 0.5-1 cm. The ends of the threads tightly knit so that the remaining sequins do not crumble.
Step 6
Fold each sequined sleeve in half with the front side inwards and grind the side sections. If necessary, overcast the seam allowance and the lower cut on the overlock.
Step 7
Manually sew individual sequins along the side seams to thereby hide the seams.
Step 8
Tighten the lower section of each sleeve to the wrong side and sew it by hand. If necessary, sew individual missing sequins manually.

Step 9
Stitch sleeves with sequins in the armholes of t-shirts. If necessary, process armholes on the overlock and sew individual sequins manually.
