Cuts under the zipper are performed on skirts, dresses, on the sleeves of blouses and pullovers, as well as at the bottom of narrow trousers. Regardless of the location of the zipper, the corners of the cut are treated the same.
On the example of knitted anorak, we consider how to correctly grind the upper corners of decorative sections of sleeves under a zipper.

Sectional processing of a sleeve with a cuff
Step 1
To grind the upper corners of the cuts of the sleeves (for zippers), it is necessary to cut 2 stitches from the lining fabric 3 x 3 cm in size (for each sleeve).
Duplicate the corners of the cuts with a gasket!
Step 2
Place stitches on the upper sections of the front and ulnar parts of the sleeves over the cut marks face to face.
Step 3
At the cut marks, lay transverse lines from the edges of the allowances to a length of 2 cm, then lay the lines down at a distance of 5 mm from the marked lines of the edges of the cuts to the lower edges of the edges.
In the corners, perform oblique notches.
Step 4
Unscrew the stitches on the seamy side and press them down, then iron the edges of the cut (also on the allowances for hemming the bottom) to iron on the seamy side 2 cm wide.
Step 5
Run the upper seams of the sleeves; for this, turn the cut edges again down.
Neaten seams and iron over welds.
Unscrew trim again on wrong side.
Now you can grind zippers under the edges of the cuts of the sleeves.
