"Hi, I'm Rin, and I like to create things," the heroine of our column introduces herself. "I am half Japanese, half Indonesian. When I grew up in Japan, I constantly watched my mother do needlework, and my grandmother was a seamstress by profession "So it's in my genes. Our family moved to Australia when I was 9. I grew up, I met my husband Dave here, we have two daughters." Rin sews clothes and crafts, plus he writes a blog and writes books in which he shares the features of Japanese fashion, models, and sewing experience.
