The scent of lavender in your home

How nice it is when gentle branches of lavender greet guests at the front door of your house or participate in table decoration! Decorating with lavender can be done with your own hands.

YOU WILL NEED
For a wire heart: a 26 cm wire heart ● a bleached jute cord with a diameter of 3.5 mm and a length of 18 m ● plywood 6 mm thick ● a bunch of lavender ● braid in white and lilac cage: 1 m wide 25 mm, 1 m wide 15 mm 30 cm, width 6 mm ● black ink ● tracing paper ● paper ● simple pencil eraser ● ruler ● chalk scissors ● comb nippers ● jigsaw ● grinding pad drill ● drill with a diameter of 2 mm ● flat brush No. 12 ● gun with hot glue
For a candlestick: a bag 26 x 15 cm in size ● lilac gray-fliz or lilac silk straw 16 x 30 cm in size ● ironing non-woven ● Lavender table napkin ● 2 unpainted wooden buttons with a diameter of 15 mm ● green natural bast ● decoupage adhesive ● lilac color pencil ● simple pencil ● eraser ● ruler ● paper scissors ● manicure scissors ● breadboard knife with backing ● iron ● hair brush No. 6 ● gun with hot glue ● sewing needle ● black thread for sewing.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
1. From a cord 18 m long measure 9 m and wind each end of the cord into a ball.Then lay the cord on the wire frame in the upper middle part and braid it with weaving knots. To do this, lay the left half of the cord on the frame in the right direction, then draw the right half of the cord under the attached cord and under the frame through the loop on the left side. Tighten both ends of the cord firmly. Then lay the opposite right cord on the frame in the left direction, draw the left half of the cord under the frame through the loop on the right side and tighten both ends again tightly (Fig. 1).
2. Now braid the whole heart with weaving knots. Excess ends of the cord through the initial nodes to the back side and tie.
3. From the sheet of motives, increase the heart to the desired size, transfer to plywood and cut it out. Drill a hole with a diameter of 2 mm with a drill for hanging, treat the edges of the heart with a grinding pad. Paint the heart with black paint in two layers. Leave the paint to dry completely.

4. Wide checkered braid around the heart in the form of a loop for hanging, tie the ends of the braid. Through a hole in a wooden heart, thread a 6 mm wide braid and acc. attach the photo to the main heart. Tie a bunch of lavender with wire, put on a heart and tie with a thin braid. Fold the extra wide braid (= 15 mm) with a double bow and glue it on a bunch of lavender with hot glue (Fig. 2).

5. Chalk to write on the heart "Welcome", "Hello!" or "Welcome!" and hang it on the door.
