No need to be a rock star to love rivets! On beige and red leather they look especially elegant.

Leather belt

Instead of a buckle fastener at the belt, suede parts knotted.

You will need

Thick dark red leather nappa size. 6 x 70 cm. Tip: you can use an old belt of the same width. Suede pink color size. 6 x 60 cm; 33 rivets with sharp "legs" diam. 7 mm; roller knife cutter; knife cutter and litter for cutting; punch mites, marker with disappearing paint; adhesive for textiles.

Description of work

Cut 8 cm from dark skin and set aside (for the inside of the rivet belt). For the middle part of the belt, long edges on the remaining part of the strip of dark skin should be stitched to the edge. Using a marker, draw 3 cut lines at a distance of 2 cm from the ends, with an interval of 12.5 cm. Make cuts on the marking of the belt.
On suede, draw 2 front parts of the belt 6 cm wide and 30 cm long. Skew the long sections towards the front ends so that they are 3 cm wide. Glue the wide ends of the front parts of the belt 1 cm wide on the middle part of the belt, additionally punch along 3 rivets. The remaining rivets are placed on the middle part of the belt and pierced. From the remainder of the dark skin, cut out small squares or circles and stick them on the rivets from the inside.

Suede size 70 - 80 cm; pyramidal rivets - 20 pieces 7 x 7 mm and 22 pieces 12 x 12 mm; roller cutter knife, cutter knife and litter for cutting; adhesive for textiles; marker with fading paint; sewing threads; thin cardboard.

Description of work

On the details of the bag at a distance of 10 cm and 12.5 cm from the edge of a length of 46 cm, mark the lines for attaching the handles (first test the marker on an unnecessary suede patch). On 2 parts of the pens, mark the places for punching large blocks, the lower ones at a distance of 3 cm from the ends of the pens, the next 10 blocks with an interval of 3 cm. Punch large blocks. Small blocks break through in the middle between large ones. Stick these parts of the handles on the front of the bag between the sewing lines, stick other parts of the handles on the back of the bag.
Stick strips of seams inside out under the handles, while the lower ends of the handles lay on top of each other. The ends of the stripes of linings lie on the inner side for a length of 3 cm on the upper edge of the details of the bag. Pens to stitch and stitch to the edge.
Stick the linings for the top opening of the bag between the handles on the upper edge of the inside of the bag parts. Copy hole pattern onto thin cardboard. Place the template on the upper edges of the bag parts and cut a hole with a cutter.Fold the bag details face to face, grind the side and bottom edges, seam width 1 cm. Turn the bag out.

Bracelet

Leather bracelet with gold rivets of different sizes.

You will need

Bikini clasp with a 1.5 cm jumper width, ironing rivets - approx. 50 pieces diam. 5 mm and 15 pieces dia. 10 mm, the remains of nappa leather, a ruler, scissors, a centimeter tape, hole punch mites, a marker with disappearing paint.

Step 1

Cut out from the skin 2 strips of 8 mm wide and a length equal to the circumference of the wrist. At a distance of 4 cm from one end, apply rivets and iron: large rivets are close to each other on one leather tape, small ones on the other, placing them unevenly and with an offset.

Step 2

For the fastener, turn the ends of each strip inwards to a length of 2 cm, punch holes at a distance of 1 cm from each fold.

Step 3

Round the ends of the strips around the fastener and secure with a leather tape (width 3 mm, length 10 cm), threaded through the holes at the ends of the strips. Tie the tape to a knot.
