In order not to waste time searching for the right spool of thread, hang them in the working corner on the wall - and the right color will always be at hand.
In the old days, this method was used to store threads in almost all professional ateliers. On the board they are perfectly visible, easily accessible and look attractive.HOW IT'S DONE: on a wooden board 42 x 30 cm in size, draw with a pencil 9 vertical lines with an interval of 3 cm and 12 horizontal lines with an interval of 3.5 cm. Drill holes of 8 mm in diameter at the intersections. Please note that in the photo the holes are marked with vertical displacement: each row is alternately 4 or 5 coils.
Lubricate the ends of wooden rods of a suitable diameter with glue and insert into the holes.
Leave the board in a horizontal position until the glue completely dries, then fix it on the wall and string the spools of thread.
