In order to pamper yourself with care and arrange a relaxation session for body and soul, you will not need any trips to the salon or expensive care products!

Home-made cosmetics and even home-made household chemicals have long been no news, but many still have not tried their hand at this art, because sometimes such products require ingredients that you can’t buy in the nearest store. We suggest you try the simplest, but very effective recipe, which will also decorate your bathroom with a very aesthetic jar of scrub.

Lavender is famous for its properties: the ability to reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep, antimicrobial effects, the ability to relieve headaches and many, many others, so you can’t imagine a better choice for an evening spa!

7 common mistakes that cause wrinkles

You will need:

  • Unrefined coconut oil (available at Indian stores or even grocery)
  • Glass container with a lid
  • Granulated sugar
  • Lavender essential oil
  • Dry lavender flowers (optional)
  • Dye for soap (optional)

Mix 2 cups of sugar and half a cup of coconut oil, mix.

If you have dry lavender flowers, you can chop them with a mortar and pestle (or coffee grinder) and add to the mixture.

For aroma, add 5-10 drops of lavender essential oil.

If you want to add colors, add soap dye to the mixture (available at needlework stores).

We put the finished mixture into a jar and, if desired, decorate with a ribbon, sticker, rope. By the way, such a scrub will be a great gift - it looks really very aesthetically pleasing!
