Multi-colored embroidery and brushes, as well as silver “medals” and a red leather ribbon, turn an ordinary bag-bag made of black wool fabric into a work of art.

This bag is stylized as a Bavarian (Tyrolean) national accessory. The bag must be spacious and comfortable for hiking in the mountains. It is not surprising that the Bavarian (Tyrolean) knapsacks sometimes resemble modern backpacks.

WHAT YOU NEED
Flap of black woolen fabric measuring 50x60 cm; cotton thread for embroidery and thread for embroidery on a typewriter in different colors; red leather tape approx. 60 cm; 24 punched blocks with an inner diameter of 4 mm; vario collet (Prym); 6 silver medals for sewing with a diameter of 3 cm; gasket scraper non-woven S 320.
CUT
Woolen fabric:
detail of a bag-bag 46 cm wide and 42 cm long, in finished form 21 cm, including allowances;
2 circles for the bottom of the bag-pouch with a diameter of 16 cm, including allowances;
handle 13 cm long and 5 cm wide, including allowances.
From the gasket shabrak:
1 circle with a diameter of 14 cm. Iron the gasket to one part of the bottom of the wool fabric, while the edge of the fabric evenly protrudes.
SEWING
Fold the bag detail half to a length of 21 cm, sweep the sections, iron the fold. Along the fold, make three rows of different decorative machine stitches in different colors, the total width of the finished embroidery is approx. 3 cm. At a distance of 7 cm from the top embroidery, sew 4 more rows of decorative machine stitches.
Stitch short sections of the bag-bag detail (with allowances for the seam of 1 cm), overcast the seam allowances and iron. Knit a fold with buttonhole stitches to a width of 5 mm, a distance between stitches of 5 mm. Knit longitudinal sections of the handle, iron on the wrong side to a width of 1 cm and stitch. Turn the ends of the handle 1 cm wide, place the handle on the bag over the seam at a distance of 4.5 cm from the top edge. Sew the ends of the handle to the edge.
Sweep the bag bottom details with the wrong side to the wrong side. To grind the bottom section of the bag-bag to the bottom (allowances of 1 cm seam seam).
At a distance of 7 mm from the upper embroidery on the bag-bag, install blocks at the same intervals. Pass the leather tape through the blocks, tie a knot at the ends of the tape.
From cotton threads, execute 25 brushes. Pin the brushes to the bag-bag so that the fringe of the brushes ends at the seam of the bottom seam. Pull the threads of the base of the brushes on the wrong side and secure. Sew the "heads" of brushes to the bag-bag with thread for embroidery. Sew medals at regular intervals between the upper and lower embroidery.

STEP 1 Wrap the embroidery thread around two fingers with a figure eight, tie the figure eight in the middle with another thread.
STEP 2 Eight fold in half, wrap the folded end with another thread so that the "head" of the brush is obtained.
STEP 3 On the "head" of the brush, fix the thread for hanging, cut the lower ends of the threads - done!
