On April 1, a festive event was held at the Burda Academy dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the beloved Burda magazine in Russia.
On this day, the doors of the Burda Academy in Moscow were open to all comers. Not only students of the Academy came to visit us, but also long-time fans of Burda magazine, activists of the BurdaStyle.ru site, as well as those who only dream of learning to sew.Especially for our guests, experienced teachers of the Academy, Svetlana Khatskevich and Alevtina Zolotova, held an open lesson, talked about our training programs and answered many questions.
An improvised contest for the best outfit was held among those who had already mastered various degrees of sewing skills and came to the holiday in dresses sewn with their own hands. However, on this day no one left the Academy without gifts, a training course at the Burda Academy, books on sewing and the fashion industry, and many other gifts were played in a win-win lottery. The holiday ended with a performance by Burda magazine’s editor-in-chief, Marianna Makarova, and a festive anniversary cake and a wonderful candy bar from pastry designer Irina Lyamina.
The 30th anniversary of the magazine Burda this year will be celebrated not only in Moscow, but also in other cities of Russia. May 21, a festive event will be held at the Burda Academy in Rostov-on-Don.
