A wonderful summer dress - easy and simple

A wonderful sarafan for the summer to sew without a pattern is easy and simple.

1. Fold the fabric in half and sew along the edges. This will be a seam in the middle of the back.
2. Cut the hole for the hands along the stitches of the stitched rectangle (with a seam in the middle) (I put aside 10 cm in width and length of the rectangle and connected them, see photo)
3. I processed the hole for the hands with a ribbon of the same fabric. Cut a tape with a length equal to the hole cut out (measure with a centimeter tape) 3 cm wide. Fold in half the wrong side inward and sew along the edge of the hand hole to the wrong side of your sundress. Then bend the tape to the front side and sew, see photo.
4. Then make a drawstring on top of the sundress for the tie-tape. T. to me I do not have an overlock, I bent the top 0.5 cm stitched a zig-zag line, bent another 2 cm and just stitched.

6. Before you sew an elastic, you need to decide where it will be on a sundress, I had it under my chest. Put the product on yourself and measure the distance from the drawstring to the place where the gum will be, draw a line (it would be more convenient to sew the gum). Down to a distance of 5 cm from this one can draw another line for the second gum. The length of the gum itself is respectively the girth under the chest. Sew the elastic directly on the sundress along the drawn line.For convenience or uniform sewing, divide the elastic with a pin or needle into 4 parts, and the sundress too (i.e. mark on the sundress the beginning of sewing, the middle of the front, the second side of the front, then there will be the middle back - this is the seam and again the beginning of sewing the elastic).
7. The ribbon for the tie can be inserted into a ready-made one, or you can make it yourself from fabric. The length of the tape is 140-150 cm, the width is 3 cm. Bend the edges of the tape 1 cm to the center, lay in half and sew along the edge.
8. Insert the tape into the drawstring. Sundress is ready !!!
